হিদায়াত (Hidayat) is a dedicated Islamic lifestyle application developed by QualitySoft BD. Our mission is to provide a secure and private environment for your daily worship. We believe your spiritual journey is personal, and your privacy is our priority.
2. Information Collection & Use
We respect your anonymity. Using this app does not require account creation, and we do not collect personal identifiers like your name, email, or phone number.
However, to provide modern features and improve the app, we use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to send push notifications for Islamic reminders, news, and updates. A random, non-personal device token is used to deliver these messages.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which features are most popular, app crashes) to improve the user experience. No personal data is linked to this information.
- Google Play In-App Review: Periodically prompts users to rate the app on the Play Store to help us grow.
3. Permissions & Their Purpose
The app requires certain permissions to function correctly:
- Internet & Network State: Required to fetch Quranic resources, download Hadith books, and receive push notifications.
- Notifications: Required on Android 13+ to show prayer alerts and daily Hadith reminders.
- Exact Alarms: Critical for triggering precise prayer, Sehri, and Iftar notifications at the exact time.
- Foreground Service: Used to ensure large Hadith and Quran downloads complete successfully even if you leave the app.
- Sensors: Uses your device's Magnetometer locally for the Qibla Finder. This data never leaves your device.
4. Local Data & Location Privacy
- No GPS Tracking: We do not use GPS. You manually select your district to get accurate prayer times, ensuring your physical movement is never tracked.
- Local Storage: Your settings, bookmark history, and downloaded Islamic texts are stored locally on your phone. Deleting the app removes all this data.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after being posted on this page.
